07 Sep NO-FEAR COVID-19 PPE webinar to be held in October
As part of NO-FEAR’s strategic focus on COVID response learning, Work Package 4 (Acute care operations in security related incidents) is conducting a webinar series on operational lessons identified from the COVID response. An important lesson observed is how the availability, quality and disposal of PPE varies between countries. NO-FEAR is looking to address this issue by identifying existing and innovative PPE, looking specifically at procurement methods, quality, and safety of PPE as well as the secure disposal / re-use of PPE.
NO-FEAR is hosting a 90 minute webinar, planned for mid-late October (exact date to be confirmed), which is open to the public and designed to be of interest to suppliers, practitioners, researchers, and health officials. The agenda is planned as follows:
- Introductions – project coordinator Università del Piemonte Orientale (UPO)
- Issue definition – Magen David Adom (MDA)
- Suppliers presentations
- Conclusions – coordinator (UPO)
The webinar will provide each supplier with a 5-minute timeslot to present their innovative solution and the opportunity to post a more detailed description and contact information on the NO FEAR portal.
If you are a supplier interested in presenting at the webinar, we kindly ask you to complete this short questionnaire.
For any questions please contact Natasha McCrone, Supplier and Academia Network Coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
